To be completely transparent, the last few months have been a test of my resilience. Raising two children on a single salary while navigating the waves of a fluctuating business is no small feat. I’ll admit that under the weight of financial pressure, I shifted into survival mode. Add in a couple of hair brained ideas that haven't yet come to fruition I ended up changing tactics with Skin Elixir, moving to a bundles-only model to simplify operations and try to protect the business by increasing the Average Order Value. I’ve reached a point where I am simply bored of the money conversation. David Lynch often speaks about the "suffocating rubber clown suit" of negativity - that heavy, smelly weight of anxiety and financial fear that keeps us from seeing clearly. He says that if you want to catch the "big fish" (the truly life-changing ideas), you have to go deep. TM is my way of diving past the shallow, murky waters of "how will I pay this bill?" and into the deep ocean of pure consciousness. By "turning on the light" of my awareness, I’m no longer fighting the darkness of scarcity; I’m focusing on the "doughnut" of my craft and my family, trusting that a regulated, blissful nervous system is the ultimate magnet for the abundance I deserve.
