Your contract to purchase is not complete until we send you an email confirming that your items have been dispatched. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion.

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

2. Product Information & Safety

2.1 Product Safety Certification
All Skin Elixir products are backed by professional Cosmetic Product Safety Reports (CPSRs) to meet UK and EU Cosmetic Regulation 1223/2009. Each formulation is independently tested and approved for safety and compliance by qualified cosmetic safety assessors.

2.2 Product Liability Insurance
Skin Elixir maintains comprehensive product liability insurance, providing additional peace of mind and protection for our customers.

2.3 Medical Disclaimer
Skinelixir.co.uk does not seek to offer medical advice or information. Our products are cosmetic skincare and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition. Always consult your GP, dermatologist, or qualified healthcare practitioner before using new skincare products, especially if you have sensitive skin, allergies, or medical conditions.

2.4 Pregnancy & Breastfeeding
Some of our products contain essential oils that should be avoided during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Please refer to our Ingredients page for detailed guidance, and always consult your doctor or midwife before use.

2.5 Patch Testing
We recommend performing a patch test before using any new product. Apply a small amount to the inside of your wrist or elbow and wait 24 hours to check for any adverse reactions.

2.6 Natural Variations
As our products are handmade in small batches with natural, organic ingredients, you may notice slight variations in colour, scent, or texture from batch to batch. This is a sign of quality and authenticity, not inconsistency.

3. Pricing & Payment

3.1 Pricing
All prices are listed in British Pounds (GBP). We reserve the right to change prices at any time without prior notice, but changes will not affect orders already confirmed.

3.2 Payment
Payment must be received in full before orders are dispatched. We accept major credit and debit cards, PayPal, and other payment methods as displayed at checkout.

3.3 Discount Codes & Promotions
Discount codes and promotional offers are non-transferable and applied at our discretion. Unless otherwise stated, discount codes cannot be combined with other offers and are valid for single use only. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders that misuse discount codes.

4. Shipping & Delivery

4.1 Delivery Times
Please refer to our Shipping & Delivery page for current delivery times and shipping costs. Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed.

4.2 Risk of Loss
Risk of loss and title for products pass to you upon delivery to the carrier. We are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged packages once they have been handed to the courier.

5. Returns & Refunds

5.1 Returns Policy
Please refer to our Returns & Refunds Policy for full details on returns, exchanges, and refunds. Due to the nature of skincare products, we can only accept returns of unopened, unused products in their original packaging within 14 days of receipt.

5.2 Damaged or Faulty Products
If you receive a damaged or faulty product, please contact us at shona@skinelixir.co.uk within 48 hours of receipt with photos of the damage. We will arrange a replacement or refund.

All text, images, graphics, logos, product names, formulations, and content on this website are the property of Skin Elixir and are protected by UK and international copyright laws. Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution is strictly prohibited.

8. Wholesale & Trade Terms (ROOTED Program)

8.1 Wholesale Enquiries

8.2 Wholesale Orders
All wholesale orders are placed on a proforma basis (payment in advance). Orders are confirmed upon receipt of payment. Minimum order value is equivalent to 10 units plus postage and packaging (weight dependent).

8.3 Wholesale Delivery
Please allow up to 1 week for delivery within the UK and up to 3 weeks for overseas delivery from confirmation of order.

8.4 Wholesale Cancellations
Orders not honoured after confirmation are liable for 60% payment to cover production costs and materials.

8.5 Wholesale Pricing
Wholesale pricing and terms are provided upon application. We reserve the right to change wholesale terms at any time with reasonable notice to existing stockists.

9. Limitation of Liability

9.1 Product Use
You use our products at your own risk. While our products are safety tested, certified, and covered by product liability insurance, we cannot guarantee that they will be suitable for every individual. Always perform a patch test and discontinue use if irritation occurs.

9.2 Allergic Reactions
We are not liable for allergic reactions or adverse effects resulting from the use of our products. Please review the full ingredient lists on our Ingredients page before purchase.

9.3 Maximum Liability
Our maximum liability to you for any claim arising from your use of our website or products shall not exceed the amount you paid for the product(s) in question.
